What is Quad Chase?

Quad Chase is chase tag, boiled down to a round you can play in the time it takes to read this sentence twice. You are a disc in a small arena. Something is hunting you. Survive twenty seconds and the round is yours; get tagged and it costs a life. Then the arena shifts, a new chaser comes in, and the next round starts a little faster than the last.

Or flip it round and do the hunting. As the chaser you wind up a lunge, cut off the angles and tag the runner before the clock runs out, and the quicker the tag, the bigger the bonus. Both sides use the same two ideas: steer by dragging anywhere on the screen, and dash (or lunge) when it counts. Everything else in the game is built on top of those two.

It runs in any browser, on a phone, a tablet or a laptop, with no download and no account. It keeps working offline once it has loaded, and you can install it to your home screen like an app. It is also on Google Play, and coming to the App Store.

Ways to play

Evader

Survive twenty seconds against chasers that each hunt differently. Dodge, dash, vault blocks and grab orbs.

Evader guide

Chaser

You do the hunting. Read the runner, wind up your lunge and tag them before the clock runs out.

The Arena

Train a disc of your own, spend coins on its stats and moves, and take it down a one-life descent with four bosses.

About the Arena

Arena PVP

Take the disc you trained into a duel with a real player online. First to three, roles swap every round.

How duels work

Quad Royale

Two to six phones on one big screen. Everyone evades the AI pack, and the last disc standing wins.

Party modes

Team Tag

Pick sides from your phones. Chasers must tag every evader before the horn; sides swap each round.

What makes a round

Twenty seconds

Every round is short. Lose one and the next starts in a moment, so a run never drags.

Four chasers

The Runner, the Lunger, the Stalker and the Ambusher each hunt in their own way, and from round 8 they team up.

Six orbs

Speed, freeze, points, a shield, an extra life and a score doubler, and the chaser wants them too.

Skills that unlock

Vault, second dash, perfect dodge, decoy, wall kick and afterburn arrive one at a time as the rounds climb.

Wildcards

From round 25 the rules start breaking: orb storms, blackouts, a giant chaser, a swarm of three.

Leaderboards

Evader, chaser and Arena boards, worldwide, with a name of your choosing and nothing else.
